
About Bonnie
Bonnie Chiu (born 2003.) is a Hong Kong based ceramic installation artist who is currently studying BA (hons) in Visual Arts at Hong Kong Baptist University, with exchange experience at Trier University of Applied Sciences, Communication Design, Germany, studying Photography and Printmaking. Her works have explored the themes of sexuality, mental health and personal experiences. Since 2023, Chiu has been delving into the topic of life and death through different mediums such as ceramics, sound, photography and printmaking, to express her complex emotions and agony towards her bereavement.

Trankvila offered a nurturing and safe environment where participants could engage in mindfulness practices designed to support their mental well-being. Through a blend of creative expression, including art, music, and immersive experiences, the project provided a holistic approach to mental health. These activities encouraged participants to explore and process their emotions, foster self-awareness, and promote relaxation.
